SOFT PAWS

5% of our shop profits are donated to support charities across animals, humans and nature.

We Catz, with the humble benevolence of true cross-species philanthropists, shine with a brilliance too luminous for this world...

Yet we endure for benefit of all.

We donate 5% net profit , this is our Australian operating profit before income tax, after ordinary business expenses.

As an Australian business, we claim the standard tax deduction available for these gifts.

The charities still receive the full amount, and the deduction helps us keep giving—quarter after quarter.

This is donated to the charities listed for more information on the exact organisations please ref to below tab Charities donated to.

About the Charities we support

"They stand with animals who have only ever known fear, and stay with them for the long, patient work of recovery."

They work to end bear bile farming and to improve the welfare of animals across Asia, rescuing bears who have spent years confined in cages and giving them lifelong sanctuary.

They have rescued over 700 bears, and performed and built two dedicated rescue centres where former bile-farm bears can finally live safely, with space, specialist veterinary care and freedom from exploitation.

"They stand guard over the wild world, so that the words too late never have to be written."

This is one of the world’s longest-established conservation organisations, they conserve threatened species and ecosystems around the world.

Across almost 50 countries and more than 120 conservation projects, they find solutions that respect both nature and the communities who depend on it.

To date they have helped to protect over 50 million hectares of vital habitats worldwide.

"They refuse to let people be kept in poverty simply because they cannot see."

Focusing on simple, proven interventions like cataract surgery and treatment of diseases such as tracheotomy and diabetic retinopathy.

They also train local surgeons, nurses and health workers to provide ongoing eye care in their own communities.

Working in more than 25 countries, they have already restored sight to over three million people.

They stand beside people the financial system left behind, giving them the chance to thrive instead of just survive.

They work to end poverty in the Asia–Pacific through sustainable change.

They provide responsible finance to local entrepreneurs and deliver financial education and business training for women and other excluded groups, so that families can grow small enterprises, build savings and take control of their own financial security.

They go where most others can’t or won’t, and they treat whoever is in front of them.

They provide independent, neutral medical care wherever people are caught in conflict, disaster – regardless of politics, religion, or nationality.

Their teams run field hospitals, malnutrition clinics and emergency surgeries in some of the hardest places on earth, funded mainly by private donors.

"They stand with those who struggle, turning one fair loan into school books, steady work, and a future where poverty stops being the family story."

They help families living in poverty, especially women, to build sustainable small businesses and steady incomes rather than depending on ongoing aid.

For around 50 years they have worked through local partners to provide small loans, savings and training, alongside health, education and women’s safety programmes, so that one opportunity can ripple out through whole communities.

"They speak up for animals, working until kindness is the standard rather than the exception."

The national voice for animal welfare, using science and advocacy to influence policy, practice and legislation across Australia.

Among other work, it runs the RSPCA Approved Farming Scheme, which lifts standards for millions of farm animals by working directly with producers and brands.

"They stand for every child, to grow up safe and free, no matter where they are born or what the world has already taken from them."

This is part of the global Save the Children movement, focused on protecting children’s rights in Australia, the Pacific and around the world.

In 2022, Save the Children reached nearly 48.8 million children across 116 countries, responding to emergencies and running longer-term programmes in education, health, protection and climate resilience wherever childhood is under threat.

"They stand for the dignity of clean water, where a single tap frees generations from the daily walk for water."

WaterAid Australia is part of an international organisation with teams in 34 countries, working to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere.

Working with local partners and governments, they help install taps, toilets, boreholes and wells, and strengthen the systems that keep services running.

Globally, WaterAid has already helped tens of millions of people gain access to clean water and sanitation.

"They push for a world where animal's lives matter in every decision we make."

They work to end animal cruelty and create a world where animals live free from suffering.

From tackling the exploitation of wild animals for entertainment and the wildlife trade, to challenging intensive factory farming.

They have campaigned for over 75 years to end cruelty and suffering, because the life of every animal counts.

Their teams collaborate with governments, companies and partner organisations worldwide to shift policies, corporate practices and consumer behaviour in favour of animal welfare.
